Trattandosi di una collezione basata sugli annullamenti, il collezionista non dava importanza al colore dei francobolli apposti sui vari documenti presenti in questo catalogo, pertanto la collezione non è stata oggetto di classificazione in tal senso, tranne che qualche classificazione in qualche certificato.
Considerato che per i collezionisti della IV di Sardegna o I emissione di Italia questo aspetto può essere rilevante, è stato esaminato tutto il materiale posto in vendita alla luce naturale, con il solo fine di dare al collezionista un’informazione sui lotti che sia il più completa possibile, confrontandolo anche con “Le tavole dei colori - Regno di Sardegna e Regno d’Italia” edito da Paolo Vaccari.
E’ stata adottata la numerazione presente nel Catalogo Sassone Antichi Stati Italiani 2021. Si precisa che la suddetta classificazione non ha influito sulla determinazione del prezzo di partenza, pertanto non si accettano contestazioni in tal senso.
